Global Outreach

Sojourn desires to be a missional community, meaning we long for the gospel to go out beyond our community and reach the, “ends of the earth" (Acts 1:8) and “all nations” (Mt 28:19). While this has tremendous implications for how we live our lives in America, we are convinced that in response to these biblical mandates and the overwhelming spiritual and physical needs around the world, we must put energy towards communities around the world.

Thus, as a church, we want to be intentional about equipping and sending qualified leaders to communities in need, supporting those already there, and regularly seeking to stir our hearts for a world desperate for Jesus. We echo the psalmist when he says “Let the nations be glad and sing for joy” (Psalm 67:4a)

Los Pinos Nuevos

Caribbean Church Planting Network

Working in a very difficult cultural, political, and economic climate than our own, “The New Pines” has spread the gospel despite being tremendously underresourced. We are excited to partner with them to strengthen their existing work and enable them to reach more of their neighbors for Jesus.
